Age UK East London Training

These training courses and assessments have been arranged for you by Age UK East London.

Where a course has a follow-up assessment or test, please complete the course first so that you are well prepared. The assessment questions cover the important points and more, but they don’t cover every aspect of the course material. However, all the course material is relevant to your organisation’s use of personal data and so the higher your level of awareness and the greater your level of understanding, the safer your organisation will be.

You have already reached the Training page, so you are on your way. Our User Guide to accessing and taking courses is online here and downloadable here.

If you have any questions or feedback, please use the Support link on the Client Portal menu and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Each year, over 27,000 health and care organisations complete the Data Security and Protection Toolkit to measure their performance against data security standards. A core requirements of the Toolkit is that all staff are made aware of their role in protecting the patient and service user data that they handle.

This course and assessment will help your organisation to comply with the Toolkit requirement and secure its personal data.

Once familiar with the course material, take the Assessment to consolidate your learning and prove that you are properly trained.

The Assessment consists mainly of multiple choice questions, based on the course content.

You need to achieve an 80% pass mark, but you can return to the course material and answer the questions as many times as you like. In fact, repeating the training will increase your understanding and we will only record your final score.
