Data Security & Protection

Foundation Course

• Every year, over 48,000 organisations successfully comply with the Data Security and Protection Toolkit
• This includes over 12,000 care homes and almost 10,000 non-care home services
• The Toolkit measures performance against the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework
• To meet the standards, organisations must ensure that their staff are trained and tested in data protection and handling personal data every year

Course Assessment

• The assessment consists mainly of multiple choice questions, based on the course content
• The pass mark is 80%, but you can revise the course material and return to answer the assessment questions as many times as you like
• In fact, repetition will increase your understanding and we only record your final score
